Patrick Freivald is President Emeritus of the Ontario-Finger Lakes Beekeepers Association, and is known for keeping bees, teaching physics, building robots, and as an author. He hand-makes every batch of Hot Honey in his tiny facility located in the middle of 6700 acres of the Canadice-Hemlock State Forest in rural Western New York. Frog's Point Honey is named for the farm where he keeps bees and grows peppers, called Frog's Point at least as far back as the 1830's
